The title song has a pleasant, harmonious sound; the voices work too – Salim Merchant and the uncredited chorus and lady’s voices. Sanam Marvi’s voice is the only highlight of the painfully stale Tumba wajda; ditto with Richa Sharma’s Yaar mere – stereotyped, again. Tera noor is better – serene tune, with an uncredited lady’s vocals besides Javed Ali! Dil de de is Tochi Raina’s show – fantastically lively tune. If Saanwal yaar and Marjaana rock with very Vishal Bharadwaj’ish tunes, Zaaman has Meenal Jain’s mesmerizing vocals for a tranquil tune. Composer Harpreet’s tunes significantly elevate the quality of this non-film album!
