Say Yes To Love (Music review), Hindi – Jatin Pandit

Posted by Karthik

Koi kaam aisa kar du is the umpteenth pointless addition to the Ode to Daddy genre. Sunidhi’s diva act in Aaj ye bewajah is undone by horrendous lyrics, but she gets it right in Dhoondoo mehfilon since the tune supports her reasonably well! Yaaden tere naam is from the embarrassing 90s phase, and less said about Jinka asar and Ye zindagi the better. The soundtrack’s highlights are the very, very Jatin Lalit’ish Jab se dekha tujhe and Tum pe hi marta – fabulously lilting melodies evoking the duo’s best phase. These two songs are mildly worth this little nostalgic trip!

Keywords: Jatin Pandit, Say Yes To Love

Note: Considering the kind of songs Lalit Pandit produces (including Munni badnaam etc., I’m wondering if Jatin was the one responsible for their unique Pancham’ish tunes!
