Kaiya thoda at best has a leftover Yuvan sound with lazily assembled kuthu beats, but Oru naal vidumurai apes the Yuvan sound brilliantly; lovely tune, fabulously sung by Haricharan and Prashantini. T.Rajendar’s Dooda is a rollicking affair; foot-tapping, with excellent vocal support by the composing duo! More blatant Yuvan influence in Nadhiyile; similar sweeping violins, pensive tune and even Simbu singing like Yuvan – very good listen, however! It’s fully loaded version is a messy affair. Reshmonu’s Vaa vaa is badly sung, and the dated tune holds little interest. There is a spark in Abhishek-Lawrence’s music, despite the unabashed Yuvan worship.
