Aye khuda is breezy, like a beautiful indipop number and Salim Merchant does his usual brilliant job with the vocals. Vishal Dadlani brings his own attitude in the spunky title song, while Bekarar is typical Lucky Ali material – thoroughly hummable. Mujhe teri starts off in Tulsi Kumar’s pop album style (co-composed by Vijay Lama), but thankfully the composer intervenes with the better portions. Teri marzi has a distinct Rahman feel to it and Kailash is dependably wonderful in his rendition. The Paathshaala theme too is passable. A surprisingly good soundtrack by a singer debuting as a composer, with every song featuring a composer!
