En karunchingama is insanely catchy, thanks to the groovy guitar the composer layers over the corny, but instantly likeable tune. And then there is Gana Bala’s vocals – cracker of a song! En kannu kulla is a nice, lilting tune; Varun sings it well and Vishal’s orchestration is unintrusively good. Sinduri delivers Kee keecharey well, it sounding distantly like a combination of Poo’s Choo chop maari and early days Rahman’s folk songs. Or nila too is a functionally likeable short melody, though the theme is not even functional. Vishal’s second attempt, after his debut in Inam, is much more promising!
