En veetula‘s highlight is clearly Lalithanand’s absurdly hilarious lyrics and the way Gana Bala sings them with complete sincerity – superbly funny combination! Yaen endral goes through the motion like any modern filmy ballad, bordering on a standard-template Harris Jayaraj song. Enge ponalum‘s theme, as initiated by Dr.Narayanan, is intriguing, but lyricist Karky offers a far more interesting and sinister twist to it, even as the tune is at best functional! The additional track composed by Ved Shankar, Naaye naaye, seems like it is meant for the aesthetically-inclined canines. Corny and irreverent soundtrack, in line with Vijay Sethupathy’s current image!
