Vaanam dhaane has a nice edgy tune that almost sounds like a warning, complete with a mysterious vaudevillian sound. Mazhai megam harks back to Yuvan’s early days, with its flowing melody, though Yuvan’s insistence on singing it befits the film’s horror theme. The soundtrack’s best is Uyirile uyirile, an almost-Raja style melody—the rhythm and the interludes in particular—that Yuvan produces occasionally. The much-publicised Shut Up pannunga is loaded with glitzy sounds but sounds largely like a gimmick. The two instrumental themes fit the film’s theme aptly. From the mediocre AAA and Kadamban, Yuvan seems to be regaining his form!
