Raja Cheyyi Vesthe (Music review), Telugu – Sai Kartheek

Yevare nee premaku‘s sufi’ish rhythm is charming, albeit a bit too commonplace. Sai Charan’s vocals, in particular, is fantastic. Kottu kottu is breathless pseudo-kuthu – racy tune and rhythm combo. In Neethone, Sai employs a simple but catchy rhythm and Sai Charan’s effortless rendition helps! Shruthi gets a soulful lullaby in Chinnari and Sai handles it well with minimal orchestration. The title song, despite the foot-tapping lilt, is too Devi Sri Prasad’ish. The soundtrack’s highlight is Chudara, a delightful ode to Ilayaraja’s Mottamaadi from Anjali, with a kids’ chorus to boot! Sai Kartheek ushers in his 50th film in style!
