Amaal Mallik’s recreation of Badshah’s 2014 dance-floor scorcher Chull continues to remain as insanely catchy as the original. Amaal also recycles his Sooraj dooba hai sound in Buddhu sa mann, to pretty impressive results. Benny Dayal and Nucleya’s frenetic electronic piece, Sony Project Resound’s Tamil Fever, adds Badshah to the mix and morphs into an equally addictive Let’s nacho. Tanishk Bagchi’s Bolna and Arko’s Saathi rey are mellow, with gorgeous melodies, and the former is instantly hummable, thanks to Arijit’s involved vocals, with great support from Asees Kaur. Kapoor & Sons, despite the recreations, is a highly listenable multi-composer soundtrack!
