Despite the Justin Bieber plagiarism, Music Is My Art is catchy, thanks to Ashu’s electronic sound and Rachel Varghese’s captivating vocals. Ashu’s electronic coating works wonders for Ajj sanu and Dhruvtara‘s Punjabi soul too. Where it stretches its luck is in Kori pukaar, with a droning sound, and a series of 5 Punjabi tracks, and Manraj Patar-composed Kadi aa mil, that play without causing any impact. Ashu’s ambient variant of Ek onkar closes his role. Ishq Bector and Shree D’s Tu hai stands out for Varun Grover’s lyrics (“Teri marzi hai toh same sex ko pyaar jata”!). Sprawling, muddled soundtrack.
