Vijay Prakash rules over Maamu maamu and Huchcha na (along with Arjun), with simple, catchy hooks in both. Jeena jeena sounds like a pale Devi Sri Prasad Telugu song. Pantara panta too sounds more like a raucous Telugu song, while Arjun is his usual enthu self in Malla malla. Shankar Mahadevan gets two mellow tracks in Belake belake and Jeeva jeeva and does admirably well, as usual. The short title song is aptly lively. The soundtrack’s best is Arjun-trademark melody Baby I love you, a wonderfully rhythmed song, fabulously sung by Karthik. Maanikya is mostly tried, tested Arjun Janya formula!
