Maelae maelae, barring its Elay keechan’ness, is a pretty good listen, using mandolin, guitars and the clap sound to accentuate Karthik’s fantastic vocals. Anbe anbe too, with Harish Raghavendra and Harini’s vocals gets its gorgeous tune really well, even though the backgrounds reek of multiple other Harris songs. Sara saravedi‘s highlight is the ghatam-guitar sound, but the tune gives up even as soon as it starts, while Vizhiyae is Harris regurgitating his Suttum vizhi sudare in a mildly altered package. Pallakku devadhaiya is a pointless exercise in Harris trying to emulate Imman. Kathirvelan’s kaadhal starts well, but eventually peters out.
