Swasame (Music review), Tamil – Taj Noor

En idhayam vanthatha has Saindhavi excellent vocals going for it, but the overall feel is that of early Rahman – fairly generic. Nee ippadiya appadiya is utterly uninteresting, while Nenechen nenechen is straight out of Deva’s 90s repertoire with minimal nuances by the composer. Nijama nijama is passable, but it could have been better if Naveen had sung with his mouth open. Oh iruvizhi nadikkiradhe has a tune that seems to have a mind of its own and refuses to make up its mind too. After showing some progress in Etthan, Taj Noor faltered in Mallukattu; and now in Swasame.
