Gana Bala rocks the two gana songs – Datchanaya kuthuputta is earthy, with hilarious rhyming words, and Love letter uses V.Kumar’s 1971 composition Naan unnai vaazhthi, for an interesting and funny pathos gana! Naa sollurappa is Thaman reusing the rhythmic sound he adopted in Mambattiyan – highly catchy, yet again! Suchitra rules over Ye unnathan despite the heavy-duty vocalizing – smooth and captivating mix. Very Thaman… very listenable – good laddu, this!
