Dekhyo‘s guitaring sits on top of Shreya’s dreamy vocals beautifully! Shreya ups the ante with her versatile singing in flashy, but lively songs like Ja khushi and Aaj benche. The more sober tracks like Bandhu kotha, Chokhher bali and Sondhye name work rather well too! Composer Joy Sarkar reserves the best for the superbly retro Chithira chhilo and the title song. The former sees Shreya acing a gorgeous tune, while the latter, a 80s style pop ballad goes perfectly with Shreya’s diva’ish singing. Monkemoner Station is a good example of non-film music done well – excellent tunes and even better singing.
