Amar mawte’s pensive and haunting tune is beautifully orchestrated by Anupam; both versions – by Lopamudra Mitra, and the shorter version by Rupankar, with more pronounced sarod, courtesy Pratyush Bandyopadhyay. Anupam’s vocals and Debshankar’s violin elevates Ekhon anek raat wonderfully, while Shreya Ghoshal carries the dreamy melody in Ei to ami chai, as usual, magnificently. Director Srijit pitches in with blues harp in Jawl phoring, a lively, albeit seemingly standard tune. Phiriye dewar gaan‘s sweeping rock sound gels fabulously with Rupam Islam’s vocals, while Indradeep Dasgupta’s Hemlock theme is nuanced and moving. Very tuneful soundtrack by Anupam Roy, yet again!
