The very-pedestrian Oh thozhiye lifts The Turtles’ So Happy Together, a full 27 years after Shankar Ganesh first lifted it for ‘Devi koondhalo’ in En Aasai Unnodudhaan. Vaa vaa baby is even worse – a 90s tune, orchestrated uninterestedly. Ranjith’s Edhedho and Shreya Ghoshal’s Unnazhagai konda are passable melodies, with simplistic and outdated tunes – the latter, with its unusual turns is mildly better. That leaves us with Jassie Gift’s gaana song, Ettae mukkaal – a street-smart song that forces itself on the listener with its repetitive phrases and manages to end up as a likeable track! Poor, B-gradish soundtrack!
