Madno is archetypal Mithoon – Kshitij and Chinmayi infuse life into the predictably soulful tune, while Mika is an unlikely choice for the other version, Saajnaa; he does sound good! Salaam Zindagi sounds, at best, like a leftover Rahman tune, while Mithoon gets it wonderfully right with Main kaun hoon – fabulous lyrics by Amitabh Varma and superbly sung by Palash Sen! Kshitij gets his solo display in the strictly background material Zameen-O-Aasmaa, even as Mithoon, along with Mohd Irfan, rocks instantly catchy, Paki-pop like Rehmat zara. Lamhaa is enough reason to welcome Mithoon back after that sorry pop debut.
