Oliye oliye clearly seems enamored by Rahman’s Vellai pookkal but its core melody is pleasing, while Unnai naan, Otrai paarvai and Iravil malarum use the Harris Jeyaraj template quite efficiently. The medley-styled theme music is actually pretty good fun even as Premgi’s guest composition, Burn in Da floor is excessively digitized and overdoes everything it attempts. Timmy’s As the sun shines manages to be unintentionally and the rap and hip hop-loaded tracks, Nee en vishiyai and Enakku konjam pidikkum are plain uninteresting. A music album in Tamil is rare. From that perspective, Vizhiyum Seviyum is indeed a fairly decent effort!
