Music review: Kal Kissne Dekha (Hindi – Sajid Wajid)

The obviously Panchamesque title song is too predictable to impress. Aalam guzarne ko is old-school, Anand Milind-styled melody, easy on the ears, while Sonu doing a Mika in Soniye billori is just silly. Aasman jhuk gaya uses Anu Malik’s Latino template and Jashn hai josh hai is steeped in filmi Middle Eastern style – both are too simplistic to make any impact. With a definite Paki pop sound, Wajid impresses in the soundtrack’s best song, Tere bina, even as Shreya’s short Bin tere is pretty sweet! Kal Kissne Dekha is too naïve a soundtrack, with minimal flashes of exciting music.
