Music review: The Stoneman Murders (Hindi – Siddhartth Suhas)

The decidedly item’ish Qaatilaana may be bang on for the skimpily clad woman on the CD, but for the soundtrack, it’s terribly jaded and boring – Sunidhi sleepwalking through yet another item song. With their rock bearings, Sooni sooni and Stoneman can best be described as moderately interesting. Then there are six appropriately and imaginatively (‘The Stoneman Cometh’, anyone?) titled background tracks, that for some unexplained reason, have found their way into this CD besides adorning the film. This is such a lame package that it’s even a miracle some record label even bought the idea of this film’s OST!

Keywords: Kay Kay Menon, Arbaaz Khan, A Stone, A Man, a lot of murders, Siddharth Suhas
