Veteran SP Balasubramaniam towers over Nee prashnalu, with a deep, SD Burman’ish tune and soulful backgrounds while the peppy OK anesa is expectedly cute and catchy. Nenani neevani seems to be crafted with a lot of affection – one knock-out melody, superbly supported by soft backgrounds and fabulous vocals! Nijanga nenena is the other track that impresses with its simplicity – a genuinely lilting tune, handled beautifully! Kalasala lo and Confusion reek of Mickey’s earlier works, unfortunately. Despite that, Kalasala reigns over Confusion! Barring marginal signs of tune fatigue in 2 tracks, Mickey does marvelously well in Kotha Bangaru Lokam!
