In-the-fringes pop singer Jojo tries his hand yet again, with Sufi music and Faaiz Anwar in tow. For someone known best for his uncredited cover of Vital Signs’ ‘Woh kaun thi’, Maah-e-ru is indeed an achievement. Sounding distinctly like Euphoria, Maah-e-ru is definitely likeable. Prakash Ashish’s music successfully carries the zingy Pakistani pop/rock sound across in Tera Pyaar, Main hoon zinda, Tere chehre ka noor, Tera mukhda and Al ama. Some of the slower numbers are tedious, but going by the number of instantly appealing tracks, this may be Jojo’s best attempt yet!
