Director Subramaniam Siva’s influence is apparent in Jigina, which is equally, if not more raunchy than some of the tracks in his debut, Thiruda Thirudi. Vedhaalam is another blatant attempt to recreate the magic (!) of Manmadha Raasa with a frenetically paced sound. Thankfully, Dhina comes to the fore with the beautifully lilting Perundhil, and Pookkalellam, which has a very different sounding Hariharan! Eppadiyellam is the weakest link in the album with a forgettable tune, but the soundtrack turns around with the catchy and techno Yetta uyarathil! Despite the first 2 tracks, Dhina’s work is pretty good in Pori’s soundtrack!
