Despite borrowing its hook from a phrase in A R Rahman’s Rhythm number, Kaatre en vaasal, Dikka dikka dum dum is high on energy and fun! Shreya Ghoshal lends her incredibly pleasant voice to elevate Nee navve, even as Anup keeps the proceedings light and likeable. Vasthane‘s simple and lively lilt makes it a good listen, particularly in Hariharan’s voice, while in Untale, Malavika explores the same tune on a somber note, but it ends up like a S.A.Rajkumar template. Addhira banna is fantastic Andhra folk delivered with a heady, repetitive rhythm. Anup Rubens delivers with dependably ear-friendly music, again!
