Terrible Malayali-English aside, Neha Nair makes Pathukke entho‘s soft, free-flowing melody work, punctuated by lovely strings. Sharreth livens up Maayanagarame with his fantastic singing, but the tune is background’ish. In Magar tum, Ouseppachan delivers a superbly involving ghazal led by Ustad Fayaz Khan’s spirited vocals. It’s old-school ghazal marked by very imaginative guitar, besides regulars like sarangi, tabla and harmonium. Vaikkom Vijaylakshmi shines, like always, in Killathe, a spunky tune with catchy music. Vino Thomas’ lonely composition, Oru venal kaataai seems like Maand raaga and makes for a very pleasant listen. Pretty good soundtrack from Ouseppachan and Vinu Thomas!
