Jashn has a pleasant, easy charm, with quirky sounds spoofing South Indian music and fantastic singing by Shreya Ghoshal! Tu is exquisite! Shreya’s spritely, very-Bengali sounding part works beautifuly with Papon’s gorgeous ghazal tune and Shantanu’s veena (or, sitar?) interludes go really well too! The song’s Reprise, with Papon and Shreya’s voices swapped, is an equally compelling listen! B.O.B.B mixes multiple genres and sounds, and Neeraj sings it well too, but the tune is generic and background’ish at best, much like the non-descript, rambling, but rhythmic Sweety. Shantanu Moitra gets half the soundtrack right and scores an ace with Tu!
