Naresh Iyer is, as usual, in good form in July madam, even though the otherwise likeable tune seems overcooked with the music. Bachelor enekke is the social media song, rattling all social media platforms in a very Gana Bala’ish package, while Moonu kodi is heavy-duty folk-style kuthu that lays it thick and heavy, with highly enthusiastic vocals by Madurai Chinna Ponnu and Manicka Vinayagam. Of the four theme pieces that fill the rest of the soundtrack, only Breeze – African makes an impression. Composer Natarajan Sankaran’s sound continues to be middling, at best, much like his debut effort, Moodar Koodam.
