Po indru seems more Yuvan than Anirudh, but a clever tune that masks Dhanush’s substandard singing. Ditto in Amma amma, but here Dhanush’s unkempt singing skills adds honesty to the song’s emotional core. The grungy title song seems apt for the title phrase’s angst. Ey inga paaru is a remnant – albeit listenable – from Anirudh’s past, while the two themes are pleasant. The soundtrack’s highlights are Udhungada sangu, a foot-tapping ditty that juxtaposes a lovely melody with kuthu, and the cracker of a catchy ode to dry fish, What a karuvad. Fun musical outing by Anirudh and Dhanush, again.
