Neelangarayil seems to be using the time-tested beauty of Charukesi raga quite well… very well sung by Karthik and Shreya (definitely better when compared to the other version featuring Saindhavi). Kichu kichu, in comparison, barring some inventive lyrics invoking petrol and diesel, is sans impact. Naadu naadu is no different – background’ish song at best. Netrum party is a mighty muted and very Tamil filmy party song. Hariharasudhan’s sober and soulful voice helps the meditative Vaazhkai unnai immensely; so does the pondering lyrics! Raghunandan continues his mildly above average run; it’s just that he seems stuck here for really long!
