Jhooth boliya is strictly passable. Law lag gaye/L lag gaye is some improvement – Bappi Lahiri’s playful singing and the distinctly Telugu-styled masala tune helps, besides Subhash Kapoor’s funny verse! Hans ki chaal is rich in folk nativity and well sung by Kailash Kher too, but too templatized for comfort. As is Mika’s Daru peeke, despite all that spirited orchestration, but, thankfully, Ajnabi stands out in line with the composer’s debut standards. Old-world charm, winsome banter’ish tune and lyrics, sung superbly by Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal! From Tanu Weds Manu’s high, Jolly LLB is a huge disappointment from Krsna.
