Parvathi, a unique ‘love failure’ song, is sung with the same verve and enthusiasm as Kaadhalikka Neramillai’s Viswanathan Velai Vendum, with hilariously entertaining lyrics; sung very well by Siddharth, at that. Azhaipaya is breezy, with particularly lovely interludes, and beautifully expresses the desperation of waiting for a call from the beloved; Harini sounds vastly unlike her usual self, strangely. Thavarugal unargirom is functional, with the usual Thaman’ish autotuning, but is a fairly engaging melody. With a sprightly vocal chorus, Anandha jaladhosham is the soundtrack’s highlight; debutant director and lyricist Balaji Mohan’s choice of expressions is delightful! Charming music from Thaman!
