Sonu sounds a bit tame in the title song’s remix, but RDB’s catchy embellishments help, but the house mix goes horrendously overboard. Nouman Javaid’s Charha de rang has 4 versions and all carry an inherent folksy lilt; particularly the ones with Rahat and Rahul Seth’s lead vocals. Anu Malik’s Chamki jawani and Tinku jiya are embarrassingly dated. Sandesh Shandilya’s Sau baar is strangely ordinary despite Omar Nadeem’s desperate Atif Aslam imitation. Rahul Seth’s solo Kadd ke botal has decent Punju flavor going for it, while his combo with Nouman, Son titariya is pedestrian. Too many cooks! The best? Nouman Javaid!
