MLR Karthikeyan’s angry outburst against perpetrators of violence against women in Satta sada sada is well orchestrated, while the bizarre Nona nana remains precisely that, all through. The sweeping pathos in Vazhiyil tholaindhu is heartwarming, but predictably tuned. The soundtrack’s undeniable highlight is Kaadhal adaimazhai, a Dharan/Thaman-like track, the melody of which is immensely likeable in both the plain and the remix versions. Singer Krish is perhaps the main reason why this song works so well, though Ramya, spoils it occasionally whenever she makes an entry! Composer Mariya Manogar’s B-grade days may come to an end with just this track!
