Vannela chinukala seems simplistic, but the nuances Chakri adds make it addictive! Chakri involves himself in a vocal play with Malavika in Nee palukulu that reminds one of Raja’s innovative vocal usage in duets; it works well too! Vamsi joins Anjana Sowmya in Oohala, another Raja-style tune, where the melody element is interestingly brought out. Malle navvu brings back the familiar 80s sound and despite its pleasant sound, is a bit staid, overall. Magadheera has Vamsi again, with Chaitra, and the retro’ish, dreamy tune is charming. Not Raja standards, but Chakri’s hard work shows, thanks, perhaps, to Vamshi’s demanding mandate.
