Chori kiya has a simple tune, simpler arrangements; perfect rhyme from last century. Dabangg theme is full-on Latino masti, with smart dialogs too, while Humka peena hai seems to have been conceptualized with Salman’s foot in mind – standard folksy tune, however. Udd udd dabangg seems highly influenced by Vishal Bharadwaj, but is no patch on his musical style, but Rahat’s Tere mast mast is a gorgeously tuneful melody orchestrated equally well! Lalit Pandit’s only composition Munni badnaam is obviously item’ish and even manages to sound catchy, with aptly corny lyrics! Two listenable tracks is a lot for this soundtrack!
