The title song’s riffs are all nice and rousing, but the tune has a jingle style abruptness to it. Nilai varuma displays some promise, but again, is underwhelming overall, given its limited lyrics repeated endlessly. Vaanam yellai is a mélange of terrible rap, atrocious vocals and a coarse, school-girl’ish attempt of a tune. Allah jaane has the veteran actor doing a Himesh, with generous nasal singing in that sorry pathos tune that takes to a stereotyped Islamic sound. Given her pan-Indian aspirations (unlucky Luck!), Shruti’s music was bound to have limited nativity. Its amateurish as well, while masquerading as polished.
