Toshi-Sharib’s (not TOCHI, please note!!) title song is a familiar 90s lilt and is indeed easy on the ear, while Babbu Maan’s techno-infused dard in Rab na kare is catchy too. Monty’s Kubul seems like an ambitious attempt to sound deep and nice, but simply doesn’t. Shaan’s dependable vocals power the optimistically enthusiastic Aaj aasmaan even as the 2nd contribution by composers Rahul B. Seth and Sandy, Achal hain mere hausle is at best a half-baked inspirational track that expectedly fails to inspire. Many cooks usually spoil the broth, but in Vaada Raha, a couple of starters help as appetizers.
