Tulsi Kumar’s pop album, Love Ho Jaaye, is indeed a pleasant surprise. This album, with music by Monty (Saawariya), has mighty good tunes, sung really well by Tulsi! Out of the 9 songs, Aaja mahi (with music by Neeraj Shridhar), Jis dil ko, Mere khuda, Jaage ab raat bhar and Tumhein hum pyaar na karte carry an old-world’ish charm in their melodies that is instantly likeable. The playful and catchy Radhe shyam and the techno-heavy Wo raatein offer rhythmic goodness. Rabba maula and Kudi punjaban are terribly predictable and filmy, however. Tulsi’s saccharine-sweet vocals are occasionally jarring, but Monty’s tunes save the album, quite admirably!
