Dillagi sounds like Neeraj Sridhar singing out of Birmingham and it’s not bad at all, with those youthful lyrics and overall catchiness. The pop ballad’ish All that I want and Tere mere promises are functionally decent while the two songs featuring Akriti Kakkar, Baby jaan and Tantaanaa are as bad as any Hindi film remix by Aadesh Shrivastava. Uh huh, featuring English Kid is all attitude and does stand out precisely for that reason. A couple of other tracks just don’t register. There’s nothing path-breaking about this debut attempt by Shekie ‘N’ Sham, and the album selectively exudes infectious enthusiasm!
