Adiye en annakkili impresses with its minimalist sound and a simple folk’ish tune while the decidedly more Yuvan-styled Kaadhal Devadhai has a groovy, catchy appeal to it – Haricharan being one of the main reasons behind that. The massy, kuthu track Rendu pakkam is appropriately pulsating with a kick-ass rhythm to match, but the highlight of the soundtrack is the remix of Ilayaraja’s delightful Oru naayagan from Dhaavani Kanavugal. This one is a throbbing remix that innovatively fuses memorable interludes from Sakalakalaavallavan’s chartbusting title song to give us an entertaining kichdi! Prem Gi Amaran’s score in Thozha is pretty effective!
