Despite his Dad’s legacy I did see promise in Srikanth Deva when I heard his song from Doubles, Adi Kaadhal Oru Kannil. But he has consistently churned out utter rubbish, ever since. Including Pambara Kannaley. Except the startlingly different En Kaadhalum which should hopefully be handled appropriately by the director, the rest just reinforces the hopelessness. 2 versions of Om Muruga, a situational & noisy medley of old tracks in Mana Magaley, a terrible sounding Sunitha Sarathy in Thakadhimi, 2 terrible front-bencher tracks in the title song and Koruku Pettai – all of them just fall flat and annoy big time.
