Lyricists Swanand Kirkire and Ajay Jhingran belt out the ebullient, folksy title song, superby supported by Shantanu’s lively backgrounds. Though a bit stereotyped the composer creates interesting filmy-jazz in Yeh nigahein and Khusboo sa – Hamsika Iyer’s rendition in the latter is delightful. Shreya is extraordinary in the semi-classical Chale aao saiyan that takes a few innovative filmy deviations. Sonu’s broods uncomfortably in O re paakhi while Sakhi piya is predominantly tardy despite the occasional sprightly notes. Thirak thirak, the title song’s cousin, shines with unrestrained words by Swanand. Winsome, retro-styled music by the composer going with the film’s theme.
