Selfie le le and Aaj ki party are insipid and pointless. Atif Aslam handles the Coldplay’ish ballad, Tu chahiye, well! Ditto for the soundtrack’s best, Zindagi and Tu jo, where Jubin Nautiyal and KK perform wonderfully. Zindagi’s reprise with Rahat is equally good, but Tu jo’s other 2 versions, by Javed Ali and Papon, are less impactful. Adnan struggles in Bhar do jholi, a popular qawali rehashed, while Imran Aziz Mian’s other version is no different. The Goan Chicken song is lively and lyrics-driven, with Mohit having a great time singing it. Zindagi and Tu jo prop this bhai.
