Edhai ninaithom is wonderfully sung and orchestrated by Prakash, but it sounds alarmingly like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’s Khaabon Ke Parindey that Alyssa Mendonsa may butt in with ‘Oho kya pata’ any time! Karuppu has an interesting structure; an ambient synth dubstep number that plays peekaboo with kuthu rhythm – great listen! Maanjaave too is an easily likeable tune and sung with child-like enthusiasm by Gaana Bala. The soundtrack’s best is Sel sel, beautifully written by Na.Muthukumar and fabulously sung by Sathya Prakash. GVP’s tune is light, frothy and extremely pleasant! Kaakka Muttai is GVP’s best in a long time!
