Dil dhadakne do gets the synthrock sound and the title hook pulsatingly right, though Farhan stretching his vocal chords is balanced only by Priyanka Chopra’s far more confident singing. Pehli baar is classic rock, the trio-style – they do what they’re really good at, with Siddharth Mahadevan and Sukriti’s confident vocals. Gallan goodiyan is a highly infectious and punchy desi dance track with catchy, repetitive extended hooks. Sunidhi is her usual ebullient self in the foot-tapping swing jazz Girls like to swing, while Phir bhi yeh zindagi takes a thrumming, impressively introspective turn. Mature, classy soundtrack from the dependable trio.
