Bye bye bye nails the simple, foot-tapping tune really well – instantly likeable tune, easy on the ears, thanks also to Nivas’ singing. Chinnadana chinnadana too is adequately catchy, but for the Thaman template stock-rhythm playing peekaboo generously. Deepak handles Cheliya cheliya‘s sweeping melody well, and Thaman too keeps the backgrounds minimally techno’ish and interesting. Pisthol bava tries something new in the name of kuthu, but falls flat on its face despite a valiant effort from Pooja in livening up the proceedings. Beeruva is minimum-guarantee Thaman at work – nothing unique or new, but mostly delivers on the listenable stuff.
