Rahul’s music in Thirayaane thirayaane is simplistic and minimal, but apt, and soars rather well in the interludes. Chemmana chelurukki is very tunefully foot-tapping and is a lovely listen, aided by the captivating music the composer adds to it, while it’s Sufi reprise Urvasi urvasi is a gimmick that is too short to work well. Gathakaala porin interestingly combative sound is well expressed by the singers. The soundtrack’s best is the Haricharan-sung Mizhikaloro rithuvasantham – catchy pop sound and a fantastic tune to go with it! Rahul Raj’s music in the sequel to Mannar Mathai Speaking is a neat package.
