Aatma (Music review), Hindi – Sangeet Haldipur, Siddharth Haldipur

Posted by Karthik

Aaja nindiya works marvelously as a spooky lullaby! Sangeet’s singing is top-notch; so is Kumar’s fantastic verses! Its jazz verison, Koi jaagi, is Anahita Kumar’s show; with her quivery drawl, she nails this one. Aatma theme, using this tune again, showcases the Haldipur brothers’ imaginative orchestral nuances. The foursome girl-group – Alyssa, Anusha, Shefali and Apeksha – rock the bouncy Jee le jyada, an infectious tune that Nikhil Paul George spoils in his solo version. Suraj Jagan is his competent self in Teri khatir, a pulsating, ominous rock track! The Haldipur brothers deliver in style in their well-deserved solo soundtrack.
