Amole’s lyrics, Hitesh’s tune and Shaan’s effortless singing are beautifully unassuming in Life bahot simple hai. The same works for Dabba – delightfully simple tune with heart-warming lyrics! Amole Gupte’s guest composition, Jhoola jhool, is incredibly Vishal Bharadwaj’ish with Rekha replaced by Hamsika. The soundtrack’s clear winners are Nanhi si jaan and Tere andar. Inspired vocals (Shankar Mahadevan and Vishal Dadlani, respectively), rock soaked tunes and Amole’s words…mesmerizing songs, both! Aditya Chakravarty’s short Tere andar mix and Thirsty Stanley’s theme make for wonderful listens too! Years of working with Vishal Bharadwaj shows as Hitesh Sonik makes a confident composing debut.
